چکیده

Network anomaly detection or network optimization based on Netflow plays an important role in current high-speed network management. Storage and analysis of high-speed continuous Netflow are hot and difficult issues in network security research and industry communities. Existing solutions, although useful in above areas, have several drawbacks in well handling Netflow records generated by large-scale backbone networks. In this paper, we design and implement distributed Netflow storage system DNFStore. First, DNFStore dispatches high-speed Netflow records to efficient storage nodes through independent dispatchers to achieve parallel storage and uses interactive protocol to realize the goal of dynamically join and exit of nodes. Second, DNFStore merges Netflow records returned from storage nodes through query agent, and provides users with a fast unified query interface. We deploy DNFStore on a Gigabit network. The experimental results show that DNFStore can handle 20 million Netflow records per second and process multiple backbone networks concurrently. Besides, DNFStore can provide 40 times speed of query response than centralized storage under the same conditions.

Reducing Retrieval Time in Automated Storage and Retrieval System with a Gravitational Conveyor Based on Multi-Agent Systems

The main objective of this study is to reduce the retrieval time of a list of products by choosing the best combination of storage and retrieval rules at any time. This is why we start by implementing some storage rules in an Automated Storage/Retrieval System (Automated Storage and Retrieval System: AS/RS) fitted with a gravity conveyor while some of these rules are dedicated to storage and ot...

Retrieval–travel-time model for free-fall-flow-rack automated storage and retrieval system

Automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RSs) are material handling systems that are frequently used in manufacturing and distribution centers. The modelling of the retrieval–travel time of an AS/RS (expected product delivery time) is practically important, because it allows us to evaluate and improve the system throughput. The free-fall-flow-rack AS/RS has emerged as a new technology for dr...

A Secure Cloud server System using Proxy Re-Encryption Model

A cloud storage system, consisting of a collection of storage servers, provides long-term storage services over the Internet. Storing data in a third party's cloud system causes serious concern over data confidentiality. General encryption schemes protect data confidentiality, but also limit the functionality of the storage system because a few operations are supported over encrypted data. Cons...
